A really good glue for alot of uses is 3M plastic emblem adhesive. It is used by auto body shops for sticking on moldings, and plastic decals. Its like model glue, but it drys almost hard and has a little rubbery to it. Drys clear. I use it to glue in wood blocks in fish bodys, and glue heads on trout/salmon. Also I use it to glue metal rods, from fish to driftwood. Pretty much anything that hot glue is used for. Hot glue sucks, it does'nt hold anything. You can get it at NAPA or Champion or autobody supply shops.
