NEED HELP FAST

Submitted by County Mountie on 2/28/06 at 2:58 PM. ( ) 207.200.116.72

I've got a cape under salt in my garage and my dog somehow got in and grabbed one of the ear cartilages and ripped it clean off. It tore cleanly so I need to know if I can sew it or glue it back on after tanning and if it will turn out ok. Thank you

I usully glue the ears. Turns out less visible, especially on the inside of ear. And yes, I glue after tanning, just before mounting. Hope it helps

Thanks

Save some of the larger shavings of hide that you get when thinning. When you glue the cut back it with the shaving. Works great and the bond with super glue on skin it instant.
