I have a couple of Gadwalls in the freezer from late fall/early winter and was wondering if the neck skin is large enough to fit over the skull or not? I was also wondering if it is easier to use the original skull or if any of the supply companies make a good skull form? Thanks.

It's much easier to use an artificial head. Most supply companies carry various species which include the gadwall by name in reproductions.
