I am wondering if it is possible to stuff a frozen rat (as such you would find in pet stores bred for snake food). I have confirmed this is legal by the way.
Also, if there was an alternative to mannikins. If I were to wrap a material like cellophane around solids to make a rough base for the mounting, would it maintain? I'm not looking for anyting long-term (I'm not even planning to tan), this is experimentory, but I would like to know if it is worth bothering for.
I was also wondering if anyone knew of any detailed sites for begginers. This will be my first mount and although I really don't mind screwing up, I would still like to learn about the proper terms and techniques. Thank you for reading and any help you may give.
