about 3 or 4 years ago i made a huge mistake of putting varnish on some of my boar, sheep and deer skulls. obviously now they are very yellow. what is the best way to remove the varnish? some of these skulls have at least 3 coats on them. should i bother trying to remove it or is it on for good? is lacquer thinner the best to use? thanks in advance, Brett

Brett, Not a problem. Most hardware stores sell varnish remover near the paint section. Brush it on and allow it to work, spray off with water hose, repeat if necessary. Then follow up with a good washing in Dawn detergent. Enjoy, Aaron H.
thanks!
