Our state's law states the carcass is to be put into the trash.

stations here in Michigan, it looks like you can just dump them along the side of any country road, at least thats the spin our Humane society is spewing to the receptive media. If the animals being dumped IS by a Taxidermist or a trapper, and not the future mass murderer being hyped, I hope that the roid wakes up before we get labeled by his unconsiable acts!

HeHeHe.
I have always put them in the trash unless I have a few large animals and then I take them dirrectly to the dump myself. I would never dump them on side of the road though.

Bury them

I have an old 922B Caterpillar loader and a dirt pit on my property. I bury them one day, the coyotes/dogs dig them up at night, I bury them deeper, same thing, whoever persist longest wins!

Also throw them in the trash

This response submitted by Hedhuntr on 3/30/06 at 1:38 AM. ( ) 67.84.147.161

But I am waiting for the day that I get a knock at the door by someone asking what the hell is that. I put them in black bags as to be discreet. I did have some cats start to tear a bag open one night looking for a free meal. They found themselves on the inside the hard way mighty quick!

Not in the trash anymore

This response submitted by Patrick on 3/30/06 at 2:30 AM. ( trappenfool@yahoo.com/ ) 4.227.160.139

I had been throwing them in the dumpster at work for years now.I got a call one morning this year from the garbage mans office saying that they had not emptied my dumpster because there were dead animals in it. Also told me that if it happened again they would discontinue my garbage services. I told them that there was no law stating that I could not put dead animals in the trash. The lady said I know but one of the guys on the truck is complaning that he is sick all day long after emptying my dumpster.Mind you it was the middle of winter. Summer is coming and my little baby girl will be born in another month. Just wait until I let those dirty diapers fester for a couple of weeks and them put them in the dumpster.

In the bush

Most every second weekend I head out to the country so I'll take carcasses and heads with me ,great coyote bait,or smaller scraps go in the regular trash try to keep double bagged and frozen and don't put out till day of pickup that way dogs and cats don't tear your trash bags apart.

Take out the stomaches and seal them in a zip lock, then hide them in the neighbor's ceiling tile:-)

I buy and clean skulls as do many others, some do entire skeletons, I do smaller ones. Freeze and advertize for sale. There are sites that will puchase them.
