Goose Wings

I am doing a snow goose right now and I just want to clarify that I am saposed to take all the bones out from the wings of the goose or for any other waterfowl?

The best advise I can give you is don't. Remove the flesh and marrow, but not the bones. Do yourself a favor, subscribe to Breakthrough and Taxidemry Today, they always have articles on mounting birds.

Why remove all the bones? What are you going to wire to? YES you can do it without the wing bones but it is a big headache. I have a few to do now that both bones in the wings were totally destroyed. Just makes for more work. Sounds like you need to do yourself a favor and purchase a video, it will be well worth your money!

So do you mean I take the wbones out mostly, then take the meat off and then put them back in? Is that correct?

You just skin out (invert) the wing and clean the bones, but you leave the bones attached to the wrist-area.
