I mounted my first (with no help) mule deer yeasterday and am wondering what a safe drying time is? I did one at a one on one class and the mount was very dry the next day. It wasn't so dry that we couldn't make adjustments, but it was very dry compared to this one. This was a dry tanned cape that I soaked and hang dried for almost two days, left it in the fridge at night. The face is starting to dry but the neck and shoulder part is as wet as yesterday. Is there anything I should worry about, mold, etc.? Thanks, Steve
