What species would you consider for your first shoulder mount, deer or hog?

are easy to mount...but cape work on a hog would be a nightmare for a beginner. Also, most hogs are going to be open mouth, which would be an additional challenge. Why am I beating around the bush? Deer would be the best. A doe would be the easier than a buck.
a bear shoulder mount would be the easyest but not an open mouth the only thing u could screw up on is the nose but its not that bad
