From Krowtann to the Freezer

First Krowtann Deer Cape schduled to be taken out and fleshed Saturday, after which I am going to return it to the freezer while awaiting Materials. Question: will i need to be prepared to soften the cape before mounting? If so what is the suggested method? Thanks

If cape should become too dry

If your cape should become too dry before you get it ready to mount (after removing from freezer) just spray it with water (flesh side). I usually apply Krowoil to the cape before putting in freezer. That helps considerably with the drying out plus gives extra stretch.
