altering a deer face

I was wondering if some one could tell me how to alter a deer manikins face? the width just doesnt line up the eyes seem to but the tear ducts are off about a half inch its like the form is to wide. the lenght is right. maybe it is just the form im new to this taxidermy and i ordered forms from about everywhere and i so far can tell you this. im not going to buy another from there again, this is the second time i mounted on this form and the eyes werent right on it the first time either well thanks for answering my question.

Mike, have you thinned or shaved the forehead area?

Many times, a thick hide will act like this simply because it can't lay flat on the manikin. If you don't have access to a shaving machine, take a scalpel and manually remove that heavy portion of the scalp area.
