I had a friend who just shot a turkey wants me to mount the fan and beard. I came up with a cool idea of having the legs come down on the sides of the beard and hold the arrow he shot it with. If I just cut the ball and get the marrow out will the legs be well enough perserved and how will i keep the fingers were I want them? Do I have to cut the pad and get all the tendons out and put wire in the fingers? What do I all need to do this project?

you could try to inject them with the bird leg stuff (not sure what it is really called)i know when i mounted my 1st crow i let the legs dry and on smaller birds i did the same i just jam as much DP down the leg hole and hope for the best nothing has gotten them yet.
