bondo for fox ears ?

will bondo work ok for fox and raccoon ears ? going to try to do my first one of each, this week. fox is lifesize. raccoon is just head. cartelage is still in ears of both. fox is taned raccoon will be dp. just wanting some input before i get supplies coming. THANKS...

Try Apoxie Sculpt or ear liners.

will the skin stick to the apoxie sculpt without problems later ? and will it work ok with DP? sorry for all the questions , but i just havent done any DP or bondo ear stuff yet.trying to get it right the first time . THANKS...

It works better than bondo.
Just try to keep the ear the right size. Do not try to strech it while working the epoxy. If you do, it will drum anyway, it really dosn;t matter what you use then.

Bondo

Bondo is all i use on small mammal ears..from commercial work to comp work..you`ll get your ears to thick with epoxie sculpt plus it won`t fill the edges like bondo for that fine tight edge..plus in 10 minutes they are set and ya don`t have to baby sit them...take scissors and cut the excess from the base of the ear and fill that with a small roll of epoxie sculpt..That way you can set your ears in the right position and have a smooth transition between the bondo and the manikin...all of these ears are done with bondo
