I have a Deer Cape in the freezer That had Borax applied as it was being taken off. I've been using Krowtann on all of my own specimans with great results, all of which were borax free before application to the solution. The Cape in question came from a friend. Will Borax act as a neutralizing agent? Thanks.

Borax will act as a neutralizeing agent if it is on a hide in Krowtann. You can try and wash it off with water but if any is left on the skin it will cause you problems.
