just wondering on capes that have been salted then put in the freezer. where do you go from there to finish the tanning process? does a guy start from scratch? I have an auto tanner will this screw things up if i add the tanning agents?

You need to read up and do some research on skin processing. You can go in several directions in skin prep depending on what you are using for a tanning agent. Use the orange button on the left here; all new guys must pay some dues by using it. If I told you my way, someone else will tell you his or her way. Some ways are long, others short. By reading, you will learn what others have tried and had success with, and what methods have crashed and burned. You need to discover your way of tanning and that is what research will do for you. It has been covered here a thousand times and is in the archives. Search with words as, tanning process, pickle mix, fleshing, how to thin, how to shave skins, how to neutralize, how to us the auto tanner. Read all you can, learn all you can, and then precede with tanning.
