I am fleshing a deer cape, and it's ears are freezerburnt pretty bad. Any tips or ideas on good ways to work with these?
Any help is appreciated.

If you have stop rot inject them with that

I just fleshed out an elk back half that had some spots the size of a football and right before my eyes it went back to almost as soft as the rest of the hide. If not check the archives I think I have seen something about salt water injecting but not sure. I do know it has been covered several times so you should not have a problem finding a way that will work for you

Inject them with water. Worked great on one of mine that was in the freezer for 7 years. If it's for a customer I would charge extra.
