I'm trying to glue the backing of a bear rug to the head and paws. I've sewn the rest to the bear. Does anybody know the type and brand of a really good strong glue that I should be using. I don't want to use hot glue.

Staple it to the head and sew it to the paws. That's your safest, best bet.
