this deer season

I'm just getting started on doing some mounts. I have done a few tree rats and i'm woundering if a good doe mount would be a good idea, for just begining. When ever I get ready to put the cape on do i pull the cape as far and tight as possible, because I'v seen pictures of a deer and the black lining on the mouth will match up, but in the mount the bottom of the black line doesn't match up. I'm just wondering if you have to pull really tight

this stuff is real fun
but there is a lot of leg work you need to do to get up and running
there is a lot of info in the archives
just click on the orange button and ask away
its like having your own teacher
i would get some videos from the suppliers as well
that will show you what can be hard to explain with words
it will answer the questions you just asked also
just remember dave that all the answers were achieved with a lot of blood, sweat and sometimes yes even tears
if the taxidermy bug gets a hold of you now
im sad to tell you the only medicine available is putting your hands in a pill of guts or fleshing something
i hope you get it
we need all the good guys we can get
p.s.
look in the WASCO catalog for sallie dahmes video
id start with that one
also look at the site hidetanning.net
theres a lot of good tanning info and learning on there also
remember these words stop-rot
if youve looked in the archives and still cant get a handle on what your looking for
ask George Roof
hes forgotten more than most of us know together
no dave youll get a good honest answer from him
with no suger on it
just the raw hard truth
good learning
paul e

Don't pull, line up the hair patterns where they belong according to the photo's you use. Good Luck !
