Question on forms

OK guys, I'm about to try my first deer and have a couple of questions.

How close to my cape measurements does the form have to be? For example, is it reasonable to buy a form with a 16 1/4 "B" measurement for a 16 inch cape?

Also, what exactly do all of the terms to describe forms mean. What is the difference between a turn and an offset? What is the difference between a droop and a sneak? What is a sweep? etc. etc.

Thanks in advance.

As a rule of thumb...

I usually try to stay within a 1/4 in. of my actual msmnts. It's even better if you can go 1/4 in smaller. A turn is just the direction the head is facing centered on the shoulders and an offset the neck junction is slightly off to one side or the other of the shoulders. With a droop, the neck actually "droops" in the middle and a sneak is more low and straight. Hope this helps. McKenzie has some good illustrations of all the poses.
