When doing a full body mount like a fox, what is the proper way to fit the hide to the manikin do you trim the hide to fit or do you cut a groove in the manikin when the leg is molded right into the body on the manikin? Thanks Vern

If you have some extra hide but not enough to justify making the form larger cut the grooves in the arm pits and crotch of the back legs and tuck the extra. When you sew it up it should not be so tight that the stitches are streching the hide, better to have a little slack, this will tighten up as it drys. On the other hand if the hide is streched to tight while its wet you'll have real problems when it drys.
