bugs and humidity

Hello, I was hoping someone could answer my question.
Due to limited space in my home I work for the most part out of my garage, problem is its an older garage not very well insulated and come spring gets a little wet and as of now I can not afford to much in the way of repairs.what I would like to do is have a couple display heads and a bird or two for people to see.question is will the humidity and insects(flies or whatever other bugs crawl under the door)get into the mounts and ruin them or is there something I can do to keep things looking good.
Thanks Paul

Humidity effects mounts

Yes, humidity will effect the mounts.
You can get mold and mildew on them if they get to damp.
Also, about bugs, it can happen, probably faster in you garage than in your house.
Why not keep your investment of time and tallents inside where they will be safer, not to mention thieves could break inot your gargae/carport and steal the mounts as well. Just a thought.
I would not think you would have to wory about flies on the mounts, but one thing you will probably hate, is how flies come in and sit and deficate(poop) on your mounts. It will leave a tarry brown spot every where they sit and it will get worse.
