Moscow Hide and Fur

I just got a coyote cape from them today and was just wondering if there is any particular way to rehydrate their hides? I'd like to get some measurements off it and freeze it. Thanks!

All of Moscow's pelts are tanned at Moyle Mink & Tannery in ID. Call Moyle and ask them.

The rehydration instructions I have from them, that I followed, do not work... the capes are rubbery, have memory, and cooked ears! No good! I would advise returning the cape and buying a well-tanned one.

1 lb. salt per 5 gal lukewarm water is the basic rehydration method. Be prepared for a fight with the cape for stretch.

Thief, you are a true idiot with nothing valueable to contribute, so here's to lynching you like the Old West.

Thanks
