Jessica, Just call McKenzie on their toll free number and ask for an advice guy. They will explain any question you may have about any of their products-very friendly! Enjoy, Aaron H.
Are you using a Noonkester mannikin. If you ARE, it's going to be rather tough for you to install it wrong. Just put the ripples on the top of teh mouth and the smooth side down. Scuff the form a bit and use a good epoxy or Jaw Juice to hold it in place. I'm just hoping there's an issue much more technical that what I'm reading.
I'm using a McKenzie form, just not entirely sure how to put the jaw set in and tuck the lips and everything in so it looks real and not like a fake jaw set. Thanks for the links guys I will check them out.
I just knew there was something going on there. I always install the jawsets in the non-standard forms with JawJuice. Then I Apoxie them with colored Apoxie. After the putty dries, I Dremel a fine line along the very edge of the lip line. Mount your boar and tuck the skin in the channel. When dry, you only have a small edge to finish and paint.
