I accidentally got some super glue on a panel, is there any way to remove it without messing up the finish of the wood. I've already did a search and didn't come up with anything. I'm leary of using acetone cause of messing up the finish, any suggestions? TIA, trudyjean

Heat it with a hair dryer to see if it will crystalize then you may be able to scrape it off with you finger. However I feel as though you are going to be refinishing your panel. Might work don't hold me to it though, its just a thought.
I'd place whatever mount was going on it right over the spot. Assuming that this isn't going to work I'd try gently nudging it off via a very sharp razor blade. Being very careful not to start digging in the wood. Make sure it's a brand new razor blade and get an angle on it so that you don't dig into the wood. Could even try it on a practice piece as well or on the backside. Unfortunately, I don't think there's any way to get it off with solvents w/o also harming the wood. And I may be wrong but once Super Glue bonds heat isn't going to help either...
Thanks yawl, I'll give it a try. Keeping my fingers crossed. T
i had to heat it up then i took a piece of rubber and scraped it over the surface. the rubber has a lot of grip to it if you have to you my need to get it a little wet
