when whitening skulls

which works better when whitening skulls- HP 40 and Basic White or HP 40 and magnesium carbonate. Just wondering which to use because Basic white is much more expensive and knowing if it is worth it. thanks!

Will work just as well as the basic white or MC. All you need is a body to hold the HP40 while it dries.

Can I whiten with just 35% peroxide?

I've been doing bears and some elk and lion skulls. Most turn out fine being soaked for several days after being fleshed by beetles. What is the BEST way to go? I have some yellow on the thick parts of the skull even after being in the peroxide. I have never been told many other ways to do it. Can I get them whiter? Thanks.
