forgot to mention its a paasche . single action . h series w/ 1 thriugh i think 5 on the numbered tips? THANKS
I prefer the WA paints from Polytranspar. I only use lacquer inside the ears on deer/elk. I thin my paints down with alcohol and add at least 10% retarder to help prevent drying in the nozzle. I'm sure I would like lacquer paints but I don't want to invest in a ventilation system or wear a comfo mask when painting.
kind of paint..
where do you order this brand of paint . and i have a pretty good ventalation system set up . and i do have a good resperator. just happen to have one i use for work , sometimes. i dont do many animals . just a few deer heads . and just finished lifesize fox . and pedestal raccoon. thats about the extent of my experience.have 3 bobcats to do and figured i might as well give the air brush a try. got a good deal on new air brush and compressor . so i figured i would try it . could use any advice i can get . THANKS...
Polytranspar paints are available from WASCO in both lacquer and acrylic. I think McKenzie has it in lacquer.
