i have a problem with slippage on a few of my deer hides i have tanned only on the very tips of the ears is where im having most of my problems i tanned them with krowtann is there any way to honestly fix the tips of the ears so that they look good they are between nickel to quarter size patches.

Are you splitting your ears all the way to the edge? That might be a part of the problem. Other wise Krowtann says you didn't tan properly of had a bad skin to start with. As far as fixing it...I don't know...if you had a spare ear to pull hair out of you could patch it. Other than that you'll have to wait for a more educated response. Other wise try calling Ozark woods and ask them.
