What size Air Compressor

Can anyone tell me what kind of air compressor to get for doing all kinds of taxidermy. I'll mainly be doing repo fish, but will later do other mounts. I just dont want to waste money on something i'm not going to use. How many gallons and how much air pressure, any info would be helpful. Josh

3hp 30 gallon tank

You need a big tank, this allows the compressor to run far less, less noise, less water in the tank. The bigger HP the more cfm the tank can push, this allows you to run air tools of all kinds.

what if its for just painting fish

For painting purposes just about any 2 gal compressor will work, although they will run alot. I think Walmart sells an off brand now for $100 bucks. I actually won one two years ago and it's still running fine.

You can pick up some 2 gal compressors from ebay for around $40-$50. Keep in mind, I am sure you are getting what you pay for. Who knows how long one of them will last ya.
