I am looking at the Van Dykes Whitetail Wall Pedestal Form shown here:

I have some questions, would I need a different mounting stand to mount this to while working on it? How do I attach it to the wall, do you just use I hook on the far corner. A old friend of my dad's has a great looking wall pedestal mount that is actually held to the wall with a nail in the side of the neck. Is that how it is done?

Mike, you won't need a different stand. The way a wall pedestal is made, the corner where it hangs on the wall has a wooden board on it so you can install a hanger like on a shoulder mount. Wall pedestals aren't any more difficult than a shoulder mount but do require more skin and a little more finish work.
