How long can a keep a commercially tanned cape (wet tan) in the refrigerator?
After I received it in the mail, I froze it. Then put in the refrigerator for a couple of days to thaw. Now I have an emergency to tend to, and cannot get to this cape until next week. I worry about refreezing and rethawing again.

it shouldnt hurt it.
to even put in fridge to thaw. If its wet tanned just take out and thaw at room temp. You dont have to put in freezer when capes return from tannery either, you can let them dry out and then rehydrate when yourready to mount. I would rather freeze because it saves that step and I have the freezer space.
