form altering ?

i ordered a largemouth bass form per instructions in catalog.the girth seems to be good.the length is about 3/4 of an inch to short.can i lengthen the tail or should i just order a longer form?

or apoxie sculpt to fill in the gap. Be sure to overlap a little onto the form to blend it in.

If possible, try to use white critter clay instead of grey. Or natural Apoxie Sculpt. This should give good results. 3/4 inch is not enough to have to lengthen form.
