Hair slipping on fox

I skinned out my fox today but he was so frozen i put him in a bucket of cold water to help thaw him out...when i pulled him out to skin him i noticed hair slippins on the feet and little yellow clusters of i don't know what (mold?)in his fur...I quickly skinned him out and got him in the pickle with the other 2 skunks and raccoon...added a little stop-rot for good measure...hopefully he will stay good and i can just groom out his feet a little for the patches of missing hair...or worse case he will be a pedastal mount.

I have put him in a combo of stop rot and a pickle hopefully that will save it...any other ideas?
