I injected and painted sets of velvet antlers on Thursday. The one I used Preserve it on is drying much quicker. The hair on the velvet has turned brown. It is a pleasant look,though not as natural, and if it continues to dry well, I will feel confident in using Preserve It in the future. The one I used Antler in Velvet on is drying more slowly, but the hair has maintained its natural color. This was definitely a good thing because the hair on this deer's antlers was particularly white and the customer commented on the hair color.
If it continues to dry well, and maintains it's natural color, this may be the better way to go for me. I will keep yall updated over the next few days, if anyone is interested. I don't know how to use my fancy digital camera to download pictures, but I'll work on it.
