I only have a few, and have been feeding them mostly raw meat, but I have given them chicken nuggets, and I've seen several people mention dry dog food.

Not a problem

When I started with dermestids, the first thing I fed them was leftover steak, seasoning and all... And I mean this was with the first 25 or so beetles I ever had. They bred like normal and I had hundreds before to long. Generally I feed them dry dog food or raw ground beef when I am out of bones to clean. The other day I was in a pinch and had to feed the devils, so they ended up getting prime-rib... dang things eat better than me some days, lol. I find them in the garbage all the time eating potatoes, lunchmeat, pork chops, and whatever else is scraped from the kitchen, so long as there is no maggots in it. Hope this helps. Wolf
