I'm going to shoulder mount a 6x7 elk that's around a 320 class bull. I'm looking for advice on capes size as I will need to buy one. Can anyone tell me what size to use and provide an estimate on what a good cape will cost.

Cape price will depend on its current condition. A 30 inch will be less than a 34 in. A green or raw frozen will be less than one that is turned and salted and one that is tanned will cost the most. A good quality money back guaranteed cape could run 300 dollars plus.
