Open mouth video or book

Wondering what the best book or video would be to learn about open mouth mounts. I have seen them where the inside of the cheeks is sculpted in and the hide some how attached to it, would like to know how to do it and all other aspects of it. So what's the best to learn from?

There may be some videos but I don't think there are many. If you want to do a mount with an open mouth or a jaw set with part of the lip line already made you could get the Joe Meder Whitetail Flehmen video from McKenzie or the Mounting and Finishing a black bear videos with Scott Brewer from Research Mannikins. There are probably others but those are good videos to start with.

Breakthrough Magazine has several articles on open mouth work for whitetails and other animals. Go to the Breakthrough website and look at the back issues that are still available. You should find what you're looking for. If you can't find an article for the animal you want to do, assuming it's a mammal, you culd get a back issue for almost any mammal and in general the same steps apply when doing open mouth work.
