I just watched the DVD Big Game from Field to freezer by Ron Dube.. I got it because it was supposed to show you how to cape, split the lips ears etc. Lets just say I am very dissappointed. As they are skinning away... it will say Okay now we will split the lips, give a brief description of what they are about to do, then as you prepare to watch how its done, poof they jump ahead to the finished product. Same thing for the ears etc. And for the eyes they said oh we wont touch that we will leave that for the taxidermist to do... UGH...
I just spent an hour watching this dang thing and I STILL havent gotten to see the whole process.. Which is why I bought this dang DVD..
Does anyone know of a dvd/video they have actually seen that shows the whole process, without jumping over the majority of it? I want to watch how its done from start to finish... If I had known they were going to jump over the main part of each section I wouldnt have wasted the money on this dang DVD..
So could someone PLEASE tell me a good dvd/video to buy that shows the details of splitting lips, ear, eyes etc.
I will say that this dvd was excellent on how to do all your own processing of the meat...
