BONDO

IS THERE A WAY TO DESOLVE BONDO, I HAVE GOTTEN A LITTLE ON THE BACK SIDE OF A EAR AND ITS MATTED IN THE HAIR AND WITH-OUT RIPPING THE HAIR OUT,AND DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO LEAVE IT.THANKS FOR THE HELP.

Next time this happens take acetone or lacquer thinner and clean it off when wet. Or as soon as it kicks take a brass brush and it will comb out. As to remove it there are some paint removers out there like for air craft that will soften it up for removal. Just be sure you read the label and it will say that it will soften up some polyester resins.

I dont know how much this will help, but I got it in the hair on A mount also. If there is not alot of it I just let it dry and then take A small pair of pliers and slowly "crush" the bondo,(A little at A time). The bondo will crumble into small pieces. And for long, its all gone. Just be careful and not get the ear in the pliers just the bondo and the hair its in. If you get the ear in the pliers the bondo might push or cut A hole in it. Just remember to take it a little at A time
