I skinned a specimen before taking measurements, is there a way to get reasonably close measurements from a pelt that is not attached to the animal? Any help would be great.

If you look in all the taxidermy catologs they will show you haw a cape is measured with the hide off. Remember one thing with life size animals to pull not stretch it side ways (belly to belly) not head to tail. If not sure let us know.
