What is standard % for deposit also how much time do I hold

Hi Bud,
I get a 50% deposit within the fisrt 30 days or it becomes property of the shop.
After I get the cape or hide tanned and get ready to mount, I call or send a notice
that the item is ready to mount. Once I recieve payment in full the mount will be ready to
pick up within 30-45 days. That way I don't have work hanging on MY walls until they have balance.
It also prioritizes my work load. First paid, first done. Never have had anyone complain about
arrangement as I explain this before taking work in. When work is done, I call them and they usually
pick up work within one to two days. Good Luck!

Bud..I get 50% of evrything I do up front. I give them 5 working days to get it to me if they dont have it when they get to the shop. The remainder when the mount if finished. All waterfowl must be paid for when they bring the bird in,NO EXCEPTIONS. Although I do like the way Tim does it. This has worked for me for 48 years. Good luck JL
