I've been doing taxidermy for 3 years and everythings looking great, and i want to mount a life sized deer for my shop this year. my question is, what's the best way to skin out around the hoov's. should they be left attached to the skin, or taken off?

Skin out the feet in the same manner as you would for a gun rack or lamp. Just don't cut them off the legs of course!!!
