I have a very large set of whitetail antler sheds i would like to try to mount myself. I havent done much taxidermy work, but Im very interested in learning to do some.
These sheds are around 200 BC typical. They were found in a water way together. I would like some tips on how to get started.
I need a cape for the mount, preferable a large cape.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Check you catologs, McKenizie, WASCO, etc.they carry a product for shed antlers.

Believe it or not.....did you know that in PA it is illeagal
to possess shed antlers. I guess there is no way to know for sure
if the are poached or not. Just a little know fact ther Normmy.

Please don't miunderstand. I do not mean to infer in anyway that your sheds are a
sheds are anything but on the up-an-up. I was just passing on
an interesting, what I thought was not widely known law.
