Hi there,
The way I understand bear rugs take alot of work and lots of room.
If you are like me you do not have alot of room for the stretching
and all the stuff needed. So what I am doing is wholesaling my rugs
out to someone else. I sent the hide to a tannery because it is a
big job itself and then When I get the skin back I mount sweat the head
only and mount it. After you mount the head it is then sent to the
wholesaler of your choice. I sent mine to Debrahs rugs. I was refered
her from a couple of people. She advertises in Taxidermy Today magazine.
Good luck.

Rinehart's in Wisconsin has a pretty good tape to watch if you're new to it. It helped me get started.

I agree with both Todd Buchanan and Taxidermy Wife. If you need the video recommended, Hide and Beak Supply Company carries it, and many other videos/supplies. For their free catalog, call 1-800-777-7916 or visit their web site at www.hidebeak.com (fill out guest book). Happy Holidays!
