Rinehart sells ear bases that replace conventional clay. Are these worthwhile?
When mounting a doe, I understand that you don't have to make any incisions on top of the head. When putting the cape on the mannikin, how are you supposed to get the ear bases in? On a buck, don't you normally do that after you have the cape on the mannikin through the hole on the top of the head?

Seldom will you ever get by without a cut on a doe. I Normally do the ear butts before putting the cape on the form. I feel I have better control. JC
