Hi,
I want to get started in taxidermy (deer mounts) but don't know where to start. In my part of the country (Eastern Canada- New Brunswick), there are no Provincial Association, no taxidermy schools to go to, no seminars and no one wants to teach me the basics of skinning, tanning, pickling etc.(Fear of competition!!) Books, videos, which ones are the best for beginners? Where should I start. Any help and info. would be greatly appreciated.

Lets say Start with WASCO. They have a wide varity of books and vedio's for you to learn with.
