I am going to use my fleshing machine for the first time and I was wondering when I take the hide out of the pickle do I just squeeze as much of the pickle solution out as possible and then start to flesh the hide? Is there something special that I need to do?

I puul my hides from the pickle and hang them up over my sink. Squeeze out the majority and the liquid and let it hang flesh side out until it just starts to get tacky. That works best for me. Try that and adjust it to your taste. Merry Christmas!!
