any tips on how to mend seperated tail feathers. i read that you can wet them a little and they will stick back together. any help would be appreciated!

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "separated feathers". I thought I was, but your comment on wetting them throws me off.
For a feather that is in 2 separate pieces, I use a round toothpick and some 5 minute epoxy. I wet half the pick and imbed it into one feather. I wet the other end of the pick and imbed it into the matching end of the piece and press them together until they match.
If you are tolking about a feather that has fallen from the fan, I put a drop of super glue on the tip, and insert it into the slot hole it came out of.
And if you're talking about the vanes on the feather separating, yes, moisten them lightly and smooth them back together. Individual vanes will interlock very quickly.
