Hi! I am getting into taxidermy by videos and manuals. But I can't find anything on mounting a jack rabbit. He's in the freezer ready for me to get started. Can anybody help me out here?Thanks.

Hi Rick, The best thing to tell you to do is to get a video on a small mammal,like a squirrel, and substitute the word jack rabbit for the word squirrel. The basics are all the same. If you have any specific questions on the rabbit please ask. Bob C

Sure you bet all small mammals are done in the same way. But RABBITS? Well I for one on the other hand will say this. Be carefull, rabbits have a very thin skin and will tear very easy. Skin real slow, make all the cuts you need to make the skinning as easy as possible. The ears are a little hard to do, just take caution. For earliners I use an epoxy. Good luck
