I have used borax in the past to help preserve my ducks and geese while mounting them, are there any other commercial soaps to use, if I can't find borax? What is the best way to get blood stains out of white feathers..(buffleheads,geese, etc...) Thanks

Hello J. I use borax for my fish and birds.If you have a local wal-mart you want ever run out! It's called muleteam borax.I cant tell the difference in it and the kind you get from a supplier.
