Ken, I've Got A Radical Idea...

How does this strike you? You've got access to the pages of the Fish Mounting Manual - how about putting it out there as a quick web-page so Sergei can access it and SEE what he's been, hopefully, wanting to see!

I gather from some of his postings and in an e-mail to me, that money nearly doesn't exist over there in Russia, and he is hoping for advice from someone over the internet on how to do a fish mount.

Why not throw one together (I know you've got TONS of "free-time" there - I kid!), and see if it flies with him. I'm sure Valentin can translate the english for him via e-mail (are you with me on this Valentin?). I'm REALLY trying to figure out a way to help this poor guy. He's so dammned desperate to learn, and I can't think of a better way to go than this. You know - a picture's worth a thousand words and all?

I know it might be asking a lot, but as the administrator of this forum, I just thought you would be best suited to set something like this up... what do you think?

Just scratching my head for answers... John B.

Go For It.

Ken, John has a great idea, if you are concerned about giving free information to everyone, you can place the files on the server, and only give the address of the files to sergei and valentin. Give them a week or so to download the pages and print them from the browsers. then you can remove, or rename the files. No one else will see them or know they exists. Perry
